On Friday, October 5th the NEA-NH hosted their Fall Instructional Conference in Bow. With 540 educators attending, Demonstrated Success sent Professional Development Specialist, Sarah Galligher to take part in this energizing and productive day.
Seeing a need to support educators in their first years, Sarah presented on “The First Years of Teaching: Tools and Wisdom from Veteran Teachers”.
With a strong turnout, the participants delved into such topics as organizing formative assessments and effective instruction by Mike Schmoker.
Feedback was very positive with statements like “This was by far my favorite session of the day.” or “It was refreshing to have conversations that supported my professional growth.”
Please contact Demonstrated Success to find out how this topic may help support your school/SAU.
